The debut edition of what is being billed as Spain’s first true boutique festival is being organized as a collaboration between record labels Moody Collective and Morning Fever.
The festival will take place between 2-4th June, 2017 and will showcase a wide variety of musical styles as well as visual art.
Hosted at Descalzos Viejos, a 12th Century Spanish monastery that is now famed for, among other things, their wine tours, the cliffside monastery is a beauty to behold and is the perfect blend of ancient architecture in a natural setting.
UVA have chosen an eclectic lineup for their debut edition and the range of genres that will be showcased include early jazz, via afro-beat, bossa nova, funk, hip-hop, electronica, disco and house, all the way to techno.
Some of the names on the roster include heavyweights such as Antal, San Proper and Matthias Meyer. Adding to the authentic yet boutique flavour that UVA are trying to cultivate for the festival, the food provided will be whipped up by local chefs from the Andalusian region.
For those of you who are in Spain around then, this is definitely something that should not be missed. The event page where you can find more information, can be found below.
