From songwriters to artists and super-fans to superstars, electronic dance music’s first sisters – Mim and Liv Nervo of NERVO – have staged a miraculous climb onto the international stage, straight from the pit in front of it.
To celebrate 8 Years Of T.H.E, the sisters share their 8 favourite festivals.
1. Tomorrowland Brazil
Most incredible vibe we have ever felt. 100,000 people who were so into the music from start to finish. Nothing beats this show.
2. Tomorrowland Belgium
Something about this festival. The big pit of main stage where they used to mine clay for bricks has great acoustics and you can see all the people. Also, the organizers are so great, organizing great food and fun vibes in the artist village so there’s always a fun afterparty to attend.
3. Electric Mountain, Austria
It was our first festival in the snow. Apres Ski was great and we were able to mingle with the ravers which was fun.
4. Lollapalooza South America
Was great to play alongside an incredible line up of not just dance artists. Plus, the Latin crowds are always incredible.
5. EDC Las Vegas
Something about that desert air. Only problem was getting back to our hotel after the show.
6. Burning Man
The landscape is second to none, it is like one massive dress up party with no phones.
7. Stereosonic, Australia
This was a traveling festival over two weekends with an incredible dance line up. We would find ourselves in Sydney on off days just partying for 5 days straight. Such great memories!
8. Dreambeach, Almeria Spain
This festival doesn’t have the bells and whistles production that Tomorrowland or EDC have, but the people bring the best vibe ever. They party until 9am every morning.
We are sure these festivals will be on the bucket-list of quite a bit of you. Don’t forget to share your favourite festivals with us, and check out NERVO’s latest single with KANDY.
