Opia Records is a brand new label that aims to become one of the modern great outlets.
Getting it off to a fantastic start is a new EP, Clubbing Time, from talented Russian Max Bett, which also comes backed with a remix by Olivier Giacomotto. Max Bett is a Moscow based talent with credits on labels like Great Stuff and PIAS as well as Agile, so is a fine guy to launch this new label. The one original track he turns out is a funky, uplifting tech house number with a thick bassline that really will make dance floors sweat. It is wild and has great vocal shouts and plenty of pump in the drums, so you can expect physical reactions on the floor when it is dropped. The remix from Giacomotto is truly outstanding, with plenty of drive in its groove and a freeform, with synth pattern that will encourage dancers to really lose control. This is a fantastic new EP that really gets this label off to a great start. Watch out for it in the future!
