In the wake of cuts from Solomun and Maya Jane Coles, you’d have been forgiven for assuming that this was a chapter finished for Turbo Recordings. That was until Adam Beyer showed his face at the label for the first time in 12 years. With his inaugural North American tour now underway, the Swedish techno don and Drumcode fore-bearer steps up to the mark to give the legendary track a truly striking resurrection. He brings with him thunderous techno hallmarks and striking melodic progressions, showing a side of the Swedish heavyweight that is likely to appeal even to those who haven’t found solstice in his powerful underground forte.
