DJ and Producer ALWZ SNNY recently released his new single, entitled ‘I Don’t Wanna Know’.

The upbeat number features the artist’s signature eclectic mix of various genres blended together which results in a truly unique, electro-pop sound.

We caught up with ALWZ SNNY to understand how the song came about, plans for 2021 and more.

Pavan – Hey SNNY, we’re glad to be talking to you on this edition of T.H.E Interviews! Welcome. How has the year been so far for you?

ALWZ SNNY – Thank you for having me! It has been a “sunny” year to say the least! So much is happening so fast and it’s only getting busier!

Pavan – Could you tell us a little about your journey into dance music production? How did it all begin?

ALWZ SNNY – My mindset has been doing it now, is more important than doing it right. Meaning, there is no point in waiting for the perfect time, because there is no such thing. Just do your best, have fun, and make sure you are always enjoying the journey. So with that thought process I just dove in!

Pavan – You’ve just released a brand new single “I Don’t Wanna Know” and it definitely is a beautiful piece of work! How did you go about producing this track?

ALWZ SNNY – Thank you! Believe it or not, I began producing this song sitting in a coffee shop in Paris. The original title was going to be ‘Paris Nights’, however I changed at the last minute after the song was finished. I do my best to play the piano, but I would be lying if I didn’t say I spent hours moving midi notes around until I found the right chords. I love using vocals chops also, they add so much character to songs!

Pavan – Your other work too, has created quite a buzz in Stockholm. How does that feel?

ALWZ SNNY – Absolutely incredible! It’s one of my favorite cities in the world and I am the biggest Avicii, Alesso, and Swedish House Mafia fan! So to know that one of the electronic trendsetting cities supports what I do is something I am extremely proud of.

Pavan – Has the lockdown period helped you in working on your music skills?

ALWZ SNNY – Not really, I think the consistency of just allocating time each day is what has really helped my skills. I feel like I’m producing just as much now than I did during lockdown.

Pavan – What are the plans for the rest of 2021 and later? Do you have something exciting coming up?

ALWZ SNNY – I am throwing my first SNNY NITES concert on 8/13 at The Original Cancun Cantina in Maryland. My goal is to make it an annual thing and hopefully it’s gets big enough to be a festival! Oh yea, and have as much fun as possible!
