Dutch Legend Armin van Buuren is back in the remixing game and this time, he joined forces with Avian Grays to make a deserving rendition of Steve Aoki and Icona Pop’s new single, “I Love My Friends”.
This remix was first played by Armin himself in his EDC Mexico set this year.
Previously, Steve Aoki was seen remixing Armin van Buuren’s “Navigator” and it turned out to be a banger. With this remix, Armin van Buuren and Avian Grays definitely returned the favour.
Armin has been testing new waters since his last album “Balance” and this remix is also a pleasant deviation from his trance sound. The track starts off with a minimal bass-heavy drop leading up to a melodic section where Armin’s touch is solidified. The track finishes off with an anti-climactic drop that can easily set a club on fire. Overall, the remix screams “summer festival anthem”. Sadly, there are no festivals happening at present. However, it is pretty darn certain that if we crank up our volume, neighbours will definitely appreciate it.
The track was recently heard in Steve Aoki’s Tomorrowland friendship mix and is released via Ultra Music.
