British DJ and producer BURNS returns with new single ‘Talamanca’, out 25th June on FFRR.
Named after the Ibiza beach, ‘Talamanca’ combines modular strings and haunting vocals to create a refined club track that’s brimming with emotion, a befitting homage to the famed White Isle.
It follows acclaimed February EP ‘Loving Touch’, a record that captured the essence of the UK hardcore sound across two vocal-laced, piano-driven dance cuts, garnering over 60 Radio 1 plays, including two ‘Track Of The Week’ coveted spots, and being crowned Annie Mac’s Hottest Record In The World, in the process.
A producer, multi-instrumentalist and DJ, BURNS is an explosive and influential force across all genres. His writing and production work boasts six songs on Lady Gaga’s chart-topping album Chromatica, including the smash hit single ‘Rain On Me’ with Ariana Grande, which recently won the GRAMMY award for best pop duo / group performance.
Further productions include Jaden Smith’s ‘Cabin Fever’, Britney Spears’ ‘Make Me’ and PARTYNEXTDOOR’s ‘Trauma’, as well as work for Gallant, Louis Tomlinson, Ellie Goulding, Pitbull and, most recently, Bebe Rexha’s ‘Sacrifice’.
