Following the success of their debut EP Dusk, Drove is ready to bless the world with a second EP today that goes by the name of ‘Dawn’. Dawn includes previous releases Intoxicated and Peace Of Mind, as well as another collaboration with Dillon Francis: ‘Together’.
Drove: ‘’We already had a collaboration with Dillon on our previous EP ‘Dusk’ which hit 3M + streams. When we told Dillon about a sequel to ‘Dusk’ he wanted to join immediately. This time choosing for a more darker themed production, resulting into our brand new song; Together.’’
Long drives are at the core of every Drove track. Every single track on the ‘Dawn EP’ is inspired by scenic routes and the vibe that comes with it. Opening track ‘Peace of Mind’ represents the start of a new journey. Starting in chaos and madness, it portrays searching for peace and escaping from the madness while driving to the west coast.
The second track ‘Together’, is a continuation of that journey, having just escaped from the chaos and madness and settling into peace while driving. ‘Intoxicated’ is the perfect closing track, finally reaching the destination where you’ve found the peace you were looking for.
