Rising new talent Grant has returned with a brand new single featuring Nevve- The Edge. The track, which is crisp in its production, comes out on Monstercat.
Bright, as it opens, the track exudes a texture of being melodic, yet manages to make you gently groove to it. With melodies playing in the background along with the soothing vocals, it ascends gently and dives into the drop which is absolutely energetic. Addictive, we think is the right word to use as this track ventures into the second half, which maintains the expectations that the opening sets. Definitely a great blend of energy and melodies, this track will receive love from one and all.
Grant is an upcoming producer from California who made his Monstercat debut in 2014 with his original, Reach. What is interesting is that he was only 16 when that release happened. Since then, he has grown substantially and has released many singles like Cloud Nine, Clockwork, and High Tide. He further went on to release tracks like Weapon, Without You, Fault, and I Don’t Wanna Talk About It while he also grew strong in the live performance circuit with performances at EDC and multiple Monstercat Uncaged tours.
Being able to identify as yourself and not hide behind the facade that a brand can sometimes hold, allows Grant to truly embrace himself as inspiration. The evolution of Grant has stemmed from a shift in artistic and personal characteristics. It’s a coming of age story that’s told through music, art, and an approachable personality. Growing as a strong force in the future bass and electropop genres, the artist is one to look out for, in the future!
