Iris Releases New Single – “Don’t Wait Up”

Independent artist from New Zealand, Iris, releases her latest track “Don’t Wait Up.”

“Don’t Wait Up” is the first single taken from her forthcoming second studio album.

“Don’t Wait Up” is a song about living in the moment. Trying to make the most of every day. “I wrote the song one night in the studio with my producer, Charles Lutman in the midst of the world pandemic. We were inspired to make something more upbeat and uplifting.”

Iris knew from an early age that she wanted to be a singer, songwriter, and performer. She began writing music at the age of 8 years-old. She was in several rock bands throughout her childhood and began entering, and winning, many band-quests and songwriting competitions throughout her teen years.
