There’s a new kid in town, and Kim Kaey is the one to watch.
It’s always encouraging to see new talent make some noise and here’s one such talent who has offered a rework of a classic from the 90s, bringing it back to life. Kim Kaey is the young talent we are talking about as she releases her rework of the Nightcrawlers’ “Push The Feeling On”. The track is now out on Spinnin’ Records.
Adding a contemporary touch to the classic, the artist has given the track a really uplifting opening. Keeping the vocals and the famous melodies from the original intact, the track moves ahead with great vigor, exuding a classic club-vibe! With this track, Kim’s making a statement that she can create some really groovy music!
“This has been one of my favorite records from the old days. The vocals are classic, I used to sing along to them as a kid so often, driving my parents crazy! Obviously, it’s a track with a special place in my heart, so when I started making music myself, it felt natural to do something with it. Working with the samples from the original and creating something new already felt special, with an official release on Spinnin’ Deep the dream come true completely!” – Kim Kaey
Kim developed a keen interest in music from an early age, owing to the fact that her father owns a radio station, which made her familiar to the turntables. This ensured that she developed a really mature taste for music and learned the tricks of getting the crowd going! After being signed to Liwyn bookings agency, the summer of 2018 was filled with festival gigs all over Holland, playing at events like Neverland, Solar Weekend, Castle Of Love and many more, while also claiming her spot at international gigs.
