Following a year filled with massive releases and countless shows around the world, Lucas & Steve team up with Yves V for sultry pop anthem ‘After Midnight’ (feat. Xoro) via Spinnin’ Records.

Since meeting as teenagers in secondary school, Dutch tastemakers Lucas & Steve have channelled dance music’s closest friendship into emotive and rousing melodies that have landed them multiple Platinum and Gold records, over 1B global streams, and a coveted spot on DJ Mag’s Top 100 list.

The pair have permanently etched themselves onto dance music history with collaborations with the likes of Tiësto, Afrojack, Armin van Buuren, and Galantis and remixes for the likes of household names David Guetta, Robin Schulz, Kygo, Lost Frequencies, and Illenium.

The DJs have honed a high-energy sound by performing acclaimed sets at Tomorrowland’s Mainstage, Creamfields, AMF, and Parookaville and have built a reputation for explosive tracks such as Perfect (feat. Haris) and Where Have You Gone (Anywhere), which have amassed over 111M Spotify streams and 114M Spotify streams respectively.

Meanwhile, Belgian big-room artist Yves V contributes globally recognized production abilities to ‘After Midnight’, showcasing skills that have landed him on DJ Mag’s Top 100 DJs list multiple years in a row, releases on major labels such as Armada, Spinnin’, and Dharma Records, and support from heavyweights such as David Guetta, Afrojack, Martin Garrix, Armin van Buuren, Danny Howard, Pete Tong, and more. Singles such as collaboration with Ilkay Sencan Not So Bad (feat. Emie) have collected over 107M Spotify streams while We Got That Cool (feat. Afrojack & Icona Pop) currently sits at over 81M Spotify streams.

22-year-old producer and songwriter Xoro’s stone-cold vocals add a seductive layer to the silky folds of the track. Already supported by the likes of Kiss FM and BBC Introducing ever since his track Face Mask Off went viral on Tik Tok, the London native has firmly secured himself as one to watch.

The three artists now unite for a sleek earworm ode to the frustrations of modern-day toxic relationships, sampling Robert Miles’ dreamy house classic Children for a nostalgic old-school sound. Straddling both the pop and dance worlds, After Midnight (feat. Xoro) features floor-filling breakdowns, emotive piano chords, and the late-night vibes of a deep house groove, exuding a warmth to hold close to your heart this winter.

Lucas & Steve, Yves V – ‘After Midnight’ (feat. Xoro) is out 27th January via Spinnin’ Records.
