Set at some of the most scenic locations across the world, Martin Garrix, Malaa, and Nora En Pure played sets that are now available to be streamed in their entirety.
While things have been rather different when it comes to events in 2020, they have also lead to some of the most stunning sets being played in unbelievable locations. The MDL Freqways concept is a multistage online music experience that takes audiences on a virtual trip with DJ’s performing from iconic locations around the world.
Shot on October 22nd, Saudi Arabia festival brand MDL Beast’s ongoing Freqways series featured sets by Martin Garrix, Malaa, and Nora En Pure.
Martin Garrix played from atop the iconic A’Dam Tower in Amsterdam, while Malaa played his set sailing on a Riverboat on the Seine in Paris and Nora En Pure stole the show by playing from atop Croatia’s Vidova Gora, the Adriatic Islands’ highest peak from the Brac Island.
While each set has its own unique vibe created by the music, the scenic locations only amplified the experiences. From sunset views of Amsterdam to sailing along Parisian waters beside the Eiffel Tower, each set provided for indescribable settings that we would have only been left to imagining had it not been for these innovative virtual events taking place due to the restrictions in place because of the Covid-19 pandemic.
All three sets are available to be streamed in their entirety on the MDL Beast website and can be found here.
We’d highly recommend checking them out to tide you on just a little further as we wait for the world to heal from the pandemic and see how we experience our music go back to normal.
