Marseille based artist Salaryman is one of the drum & bass scene’s most underrated producers.

The Frenchman’s career spans over a decade and his ability to switch from hard hitting dancefloor stompers to mind numbing numbers makes him one of those rare producers possessing the ability to smash dancefloors as well as he is able to take crowds into a euphoric journey.

Salaryman has played alongside some of the biggest Drum & Bass artists and DJs in the scene, including; Hype, Pendulum, Dj Fresh, Shy Fx and more, which has certainly helped him to where he is today.

The French stalwart has featured on some of the biggest labels in drum and bass such as Fokuz, Citrus and Celsius. In 2013, he entered legendary J Majik & Wickaman’s imprint; Infrared, one of the biggest and pioneering Drum and bass labels to date.

The upper level was reached in early 2014, when he signed his first track on THE leading label in the Drum & Bass scene; Ram Records. Featuring alongside bass music heavyweights such as Sub Focus, Chase & Status and Wilkinson, his tracks are now supported by the biggest names in the scene.

His latest for the RAM imprint ‘Badman Sound’, presents a flip-side to Salaryman not yet unveiled by his releases so far. A charged up call-to-arms which punches harder and harder with every sonic break, it goes for the aural jugular, unafraid in its assault. Layer up on layer of distorted bass, ragga-vocals and elevating beats take you deeper between each segment, with instrumental warbling building its carefully manufactured drops. This is Salaryman at his most unforgiving, tearing up the dance-floor with aggressively tight-knit production.

A step into unknown territories and another notch higher within Ram’s discography, Salaryman’s progression is beginning to raise the bar within not just his career, but also the imprint’s roster.
