Ryan Blyth x After 6 – Trust Me (Remixes)

Ryan Blyth and After 6’s feelgood new song ‘Trust Me’ has been given the remix treatment by respected DJ, producer and Rinse FM regular Low Steppa.

Forthcoming on Danny Howard’s new ‘Nothing Else Matters’ label on the 22nd April, it forms part of a remix package that also includes takes from Camelphat, TS7 and Frankee.

Low Steppa’s remix of ‘Trust Me’ is a stomping bass-house affair, that cleverly samples and chops the original’s strings and vocals to create new melodies and an original structure over a solid bassline. With a tension-filled breakdown midway through, this is a club-ready version of the uplifting track from the Birmingham-based Rinse FM resident.

London drum n bass producer Frankee switches up the tempo with his remix of ‘Trust Me’. The male vocals take on a new sense of urgency as they lead the intro, with the sped-up strings leading into a heavy drum n bass drop. A completely different take on the record, the higher BPM of Frankee’s remix lends the summery ‘Trust Me’ a much heavier feel.
