After emerging from relative obscurity, the name Raiser is becoming a recognisable force within dance music. He made his initial mark after releasing festival anthem ‘The Weapon’, which garnered support from the likes of Andy C, Delta Heavy and My Nu Leng, despite Raiser remaining an anonymous source. Having dropped on pivotal drum & bass behemoth Ram Records, ‘The Weapon’ not only paved the way for Raiser, but it also demonstrated what he was about as an artist. The stage built around ‘The Weapon’ epitomised his musical personality and the creativity behind one of the biggest questions in drum & bass. Who is Raiser?

‘Game Over’ is another raucous club track, utilising Raiser’s hard-driven production standard to cut through its careful sequencing and manufacture a record which grabs you with its instantly catchy hooks.

Raiser once again goes for the jugular, breaking out of mainstream stereotypes and being unafraid in his percussive progressions; striking cow-bells pull you up into its climatic drop, taking you down a whirlwind of climatic stabs and unforgiving layers of drum work. Whether it was on stages at EDC Festival in Las Vegas earlier this year, or at the seminal Let it Roll Festival in Prague, ‘GaMe Ov3R’ has already asserted itself insets throughout the drum & bass world. It’s now about to be brought into the wider circuit, with Raiser becoming a formidable entity, despite the unidentified face behind his mark. Being signed exclusively to the Ram Records roster, twenty-five years strong in the game, there’s a certified confidence which is driving Raiser. Whether he’s a scene newcomer or a more established face, it’s becoming impossible to ignore him. ‘Game Over’ is yet again a testament to this.
