Sasha launches his new, limited-run ‘LNOE Vinyl Archives’ series on his Last Night On Earth imprint, with ‘Vol.1’ dropping on September 13th.
The release features gems like the definitive Hunter/Game ‘Canyons’, Sasha & La Fleur’s massively popular collaboration ‘Förbindelse’, Fur Coat’s recent ‘Babel’ and a new track ‘Maresme’ (Da Silva Mix), from Jon DaSilva and Jozef K. This is the only time these tracks will be available on vinyl, a must-have for record collectors and LNOE label fans alike. ‘Maresme’ drops digitally later in the year, so this will be the first chance for fans to snap it up months ahead of the official release.
This new series celebrates pivotal cuts from the label’s history, as well as fresh upcoming tracks.
‘The idea came to me when I saw the success of the LNOE100 Compilation. Demand was so huge, we had to do a re-press of the vinyl,’ Sasha says. ‘It seemed like a great way to give new life to classic tracks from the back catalogue in a different format.’ Each limited-run release will feature three tracks from the LNOE back catalogue – a recent release, a seminal cut from the archives and a stand-out hit – and an exclusive forthcoming track.
Not only that, but a new tranche of LNOE label parties is announced, including Watergate on September 6th, Tobacco Dock (London) on September 21st, Watergate, and Undercurrent (Amsterdam) on November 15th, with more planned worldwide in 2020. With his keenly anticipated solo track, ‘Ripcord’ finally dropping on August 23rd after months of track ID queries and speculation from fans, Sasha’s dynamic imprint is buzzing with creative excitement.
