Fluctuating between melodic soundscapes and heavy stick-to-your-rib beats, Tisoki’s “Promise” is an experimental spin on modern bass music.

Led by the titular track “Promise,” featuring emerging talent LiL Lotus and Tisoki’s subsequent VIP reworking, the genre-fluid offering mixes elements of hip hop, emo, trap, and bass music into a cohesive stew, filled with heavy emotion and unwavering darkness.

“This EP turned perfectly captures the direction I want my music to go. I feel like all of these records come together to create the next chapter of the “Tisoki” sound. Collaborating with the vocalists across all of these records was a pleasure and a big learning curve for me and I’m super excited to see where this goes next.” – Tisoki

Tisoki showcases his ingenuity with innovative experimentation throughout Promise. It’s the artist’s second EP released through Dim Mak, following 2019’s Razor Blades. The new material spotlights Tisoki’s evolution as a producer, this time incorporating a wider scope of influences into the fold. MineSweepa collaboration “See You Again” is a hard-hitting hip-hop tinged, vocal-driven record, while the title track “Promise” sees Tisoki and LiL Lotus bring emo punk melodies to dance music. The remaining three songs are just as complex, composed of innumerable layers and bold ideas. Boasting support already from DJs such as NGHTMRE & SLANDER, Alison Wonderland, KAYZO, JAUZ and Zomboy, it’s clear that Tisoki’s Promise is another masterful body of multifaceted dancefloor anthems.
