With the melodic stones of Lost Frequencies starting the party in truly epic style, Dutch duo Sunnery James & Ryan Marciano delivered their groove-packed tribal style to the thousands in attendance, before Martin Garrix – the newly crowned #1 DJ for the third year in a row – filled the arena with a rapturous set filled with dynamic transitions and a huge back-catalogue of some of his most anthemic hits. With the jaw-dropping design of the venue amazing the packed crowd thanks to mind-bending spinning lasers and huge Co2 blasts, a special b2b between David Guetta and Dimitri Vegas & Like Mike will be remembered as a truly iconic moment in AMF history, with all three going shirtless inside the atmospheric cauldron of noise. With legendary Swedish pair Axwell Λ Ingrosso performing what many believe to be their final set as a duo before the impending relaunch of Swedish House Mafia, the evening was rounded off by KSHMR, the thunderous tones of big-room pair W&W, as well as Vini Vici, and the wild dance moves of dance music’s most colorful character, Salvatore Ganacci.

With cheers erupting throughout the Arena from start to finish, dance music’s most influential party, AMF Amsterdam, has truly cemented a reputation as a must-see for any electronic music fan. Presenting a line-up of the biggest DJs in the world every year, AMF serves a gathering of the tribes, where fans from all segments of the dance community come together to celebrate the music they love.
