Earlier this week, Tiësto performed one of many intimate socially distanced events being held at the scenic Red Rocks Amphitheater.
With a stacked supporting lineup by acts on his Musical Freedom imprint, with a VER:WEST set in there as well for good measure. This lineup was pretty packed.
With only 175 tickets sold to maintain social distancing guidelines for the event hosted on September 24, the entire event was premiered digitally the very next day and is now available on the Spinnin’ Records channel on YouTube to relive. All ticket proceeds were donated to the Children’s Hospital Colorado Foundation.
While from the pictures captured for The Gazette by Chancey Bush seem like it’s an eerily different experience, we can only imagine for the select few who got to be there in person, it felt nothing but surreal to be back at a live event and that too with none other than Tiësto throwing down a power-packed set.
In a series of similar events being hosted at the venue, fans can continue to enjoy this feeling of a somewhat return to normal by enjoying events hosted at the iconic venue headlined by Fitz and The Tantrums, Lotus, and Billy Strings, among others. Sticking with the same guidelines due to the Covid-19 pandemic, the concerts will strictly adhere to the 175 ticket capacity limits.
Listen back to the entire event live on YouTube for 5 and a half hours of pure awesomeness with not one, but two Tiësto sets! This left us feeling blessed to have gotten to hear a live (even though virtual) VER:WEST set among other things. Maybe 2020 isn’t only all about the negatives?
