Swedish producer Avicii has yet again cancelled his shows for the upcoming month, pushing them all over to next year.
This is the second time Avicii has had to postpone or cancel his shows after last year’s cancellations due to health concerns. Fans worldwide are disappointed but what can you do when the big man decides to do some soul searching?
The Swede released the following statement explaining his decision,
“I look forward to keep being innovative with my team in leading a bigger change than just with my music. In moving my tour promotional responsibilities to next year, I have a great opportunity to focus on myself and spend time trying to grow up in a way I never got the chance to – normal, or as normal as it could get. My team, label and family have encouraged me to do that and I realize not many in my position get that opportunity.”
As Avicii prepares for the release of his new album, Stories and spends time ‘focusing’ on himself, we fans can just spend our time checking out his latest video of his (some say horrifying) remix of Faithless’ classic, Insomnia!
