BigCityBeats, the team behind the famed World Club Dome totally brought to life the true meaning of “where there’s a will, there’s a way.” The company hosted the world’s first-ever “drive-in rave” in Germany.

In these times of COVID-19 where music festivals and large gatherings seem unlikely to resume anytime soon, the company adopted a unique way to bring ravers together.

Since World Club Dome as a festival like almost all others had to be postponed to 2021, the team behind it began to envision what a rave in these tough times looked like and came up with the BigCityBeats World Club Dome Drive-In.

Complete with pyrotechnics, fireworks, et all, artists like DJ Le Shuuk, Tiefblau, Plastikfunk, and Topic took to the stage afront a front row of cars instead of ravers. Faced with lines on lines of cars as ravers tuned in to the event which was broadcast on FM radio from the safety of their respective cars, attendees expressed their appreciation in unusual ways like honking and flashing lights.

As per their website, the next event is scheduled for May 20 at Dusseldorf Drive-In. These will be followed by future editions on May 30, and June 10, 2020.

World Club Done signed off on their social media saying “Prepare for more amazing things because this is only the beginning!” They also mentioned attendees can secure their tickets to upcoming shows here.
