The third and final weekend of Tomorrowland 2022 came to an end this weekend and created history in its own way.
It being the first ever edition of the festival giant to run over three weekends instead of two weekends like it has for years was only the beginning, tearing down some much needed barriers and in a move to shatter the glass ceiling, Charlotte de Witte became the very first female DJ to ever close out the coveted Tomorrowland mainstage on Saturday night.
While half way through 2022, de Witte has been having an incredibly strong year and making moves as she continues to bring her brand KNTXT across festivals and globally. While her ist of accolades is long and going strong, among them, she already hosted a stage at EDC Las Vegas earlier this year and also took over the Atmosphere Tent at the first weekend of Tomorrowland.
While the set started off with her giving the audiences a mainstage ready set with remixes and tracks by her and other artists in a way celebrating the genre of Trance and the culture which she embraces and contributes hugely to growing.
However in the second half of the set, de Witte jam packed some stellar ID’s in a message to the world to look out for more as she moves full steam ahead in paving a bright future and bringing her vision to life.

Tomorrowland is also allowing fans to enjoy replays of the livestreams for 21 days and has begun dropping a whole host of live sets on their YouTube channel for fans to relive. Find the live sets here.
