Through most of 2020, Dad Life stayed rather quiet when it came to new music as they were hard at work on their imprint Crash & Smile. The label was officially launched with the release of their single “Rumble Slow” in February 2021 as a sub-imprint of Hardwell’s Revealed Recordings banner.
Now, the duo are teasing a track that has been in the making since early 2013. Probably titled Rov Rave Kött, the duo shared they never released the track as they felt it never felt ready enough to deliver their vision. After attempting to reproduce it every year, they now feel confident it is ready in 2021, 8 years later!
While no audio teaser was shared, they promised to release a video of what was holding them back all these years and claimed it now sounds “easy” and straightforward.
Some of Dada Life’s most popular releases over the years include 2013’s “Born to Rage”, “So Young So High ” and more from their 2012 breakthrough The Rules Of Dada LP.
At this time there is still no official release date or any more details, but the wait might finally be coming to an end for the duo and their fans alike.
