After successfully raising $700,000 in donations during his very first United At Home live stream from Miami, David Guetta decided to bring the fundraising live stream concept to the Big Apple.

Set to take place at one of New York City’s “most iconic locations” which will remain a well-guarded secret till the day, David Guetta will be live from the Big Apple at the end of this month on May 30.

While the first United At Home event saw him raise and match funds for incredible organizations such as the World Health Organization, Feeding South Florida, Feeding America, and the French Fondation Hôpitaux de Paris. This time around he will continue to fundraise for most of those but also ask fans to support the local Mayor’s Fund to Advance New York City.

In an official statement with regards to the event, Guetta went on to explain why NYC was the ideal place for him to host his next edition of United At Home saying, “I’m excited to announce I will host another live stream to raise money for charity and help battle the [COVID-19] virus. New York is one of my favourite cities and it’s an honour to be able to do something to help the city during this difficult time. We’re planning something special that can be enjoyed from homes around the world. As a DJ, the crowd is the most important part of any show and even though we can’t be together in a club or at a festival, we can use this time to come together in new ways and help those who need it most.”

While David Guetta has been one of the quickest to improvise and up his live stream game during these times of quarantine and lockdowns, we are expecting nothing but another spectacular performance during this next event. After all, Guetta did rent out all of LIV Nightclub in downtown Miami with no audience to play and stream his EDC Virtual Rave-A-Thon set last weekend.

The event will be streamed from 7 pm EST on May 30, right after the city claps, sings, cheers, and pays its daily ode to Healthcare, frontline, and essential workers every single day. Viewers will be able to tune into the set virtually across various platforms like Facebook, Instagram, YouTube, Twitter, Twitch, VK, and TikTok.

Donations can be made for each organization on Guetta’s official website here.
