Two DJ/Producers that have been killing it with the live streaming game since the very beginning of the coronavirus quarantine lockdowns are coming together for a greater cause.
Diplo and Dillon Francis are teaming up with food delivery system DoorDash to donate meals to the underprivileged with Feeding America. The Feeding America network is the United States’ largest domestic hunger-relief organization that works to get nourishing food from farmers, manufacturers, and retailers to people in need.
This isn’t the first time the two have come together, but later today they’re coming back with their “Coronight Fever” to spunk up your Saturday night, or well Sunday morning depending on where in the world you are. The Diplo B2B Dillon Francis live stream will return on Twitch and YouTube at 8 pm PST (8:30 am IST). For every viewer who tunes into the live stream, DoorDash will donate one meal to a family in need. So in essence literally all we need to do to help, is tune into the stream and enjoy!
As reported by Your EDM, speaking about their time in quarantine Diplo said, “Other than live streaming multiple nights a week from my house I’m still working on other music, playing a lot of chess and of course working out every day — oh and I’m actually getting some sleep these days!”
When asked the same, Dillon Francis said, “Lots of live streams, taught my friend Gerald how to DJ! But mostly just building lots of blanket forts and making new music.”
Both the artists also revealed their go-to DoorDash orders with Diplo saying, “I’ve been eating tons of Indian food and lots of vegan Thai food as well,” he revealed. “There are so many great options available.”
In true Dillon Francis style, he said, “I like to get wings and pretend I’m doing an episode of Hot Ones in my kitchen.”
Tune in to the live stream here and do your bit!
