Diplo Survives Terrifying Emergency Landing

The life of a DJ involves an immense amount of traveling and with it comes the potential risks.

Diplo happened to face a life-threating situation while he was flying this past weekend on a trip to Columbus and Minneapolis, and the windshield of his jet cracked midair forcing them to make an emergency landing.

In true Diplo style, he decided to take to social media as it was happening to share a picture of the pilots wearing masks and the cracked windshield saying he might not be able to make it to his shows tonight in Columbus and Minneapolis! He shared another picture in stark contrast as well, of him sitting back and meditating in front of a basket full of Ghiradelli chocolates.

“Dear Colombus and Minneapolis, my jet window just cracked open and the pilots are wearing masks so not sure ill make my shows tonight but they left the wifi on so I’m just going to sit in the back and smoke toad venom and Vlog. I just bought this cool vest in Dallas at a thrift store ….. Also, I never told you this but I might by gay… Update: we landed and no one died I still might be gay but I’m definitely not going to tye die any more jets..”

While the cause for the cracks on the windshield remains unknown, Diplo posted an update after they landed safely saying when he actually landed in Ohio, more people asked him if he was gay rather then if he was safe.

Coming out of this situation made the reality of life dawn on Diplo and he decided to post saying since he now realizes life is so short he has a skincare routine. He also went on to tell his fans jokingly that if anyone was looking to date him or have a one night stand, now is the time since he might be “eaten by an alligator” or something on one of his weird tours.

Yesterday I learned that life is fragile so I started a skin care routine .. also if your thinking of dating me or even a one night stand you should hit me up soon cause you never know I could be eaten by an alligator or something on one of my wierd tours
