Since his performance in Coachella 2015, the artist has gone into what seems like a silent phase of his career. However, he made appearances on tracks like I Was Never There and Hurt You from The Weeknd’s My Dear Melancholy EP earlier this year.
Mike Lévy, who is known as Gesaffelstein has worked with the likes of Tiga, Miss Kittin, A$AP Rocky, Lana Del Rey, and Kanye West. His stage name is a portmanteau of Gesamtkunstwerk and Albert Einstein, while is music is as innovative as the name.
It seems like the artist is following the strategy used by Aphex Twin earlier this year to announce new music. Whether this means just a show, the release of new music or a world tour, is not quite clear. Having said that, fans across the globe would be happy to see his return in any possible manner!
