Its official, 2020 is off the charts for any to all large scale gatherings.
Founder of Insomniac, Pasquale Rotella, officially now confirms all remaining festivals they had planned and scheduled for later this year have been postponed to 2021.
While the news didn’t come as a surprise, it was still disappointing all the same. After the initial postponement and then cancellation of EDC Las Vegas, now Nocturnal Wonderland, Escape Psycho Circus, EDC Orlando, and Dreamstate SoCal have also officially been cancelled for the year and pushed to unannounced dates in 2021.
In a tell-all social media post, Rotella wrote,
“As you might have imagined after we moved EDC Las Vegas to May 2021, we will be shifting Nocturnal Wonderland, Escape Psycho Circus, EDC Orlando & Dreamstate SoCal to 2021 as well.”
He went on to say,
“While this year has been full of ups and downs, it’s something I’ve found a lot of positivity & excitement in. This extra time to plan is going to allow us to make our 2021 events the best we’ve ever had both creatively and logistically.”
He, however, did ensure fans that all Insomniac’s virtual efforts to keep their fans entertained and engaged will continue ensuring them that InsomniacTV will continue with live streams and Rave-A-Thons. Stay tuned for more updates on these virtual events that will get us through the rest of 2020, together.
