Could 2023 have gotten off to any better of a start?

Skrillex started off strong on the very first day of the new year by scrubbing his Instagram clean and then posted a reel filled with teasers of what appears to be not one but possibly two albums worth of highly anticipated new music from the icon!

With a cryptic caption reading simply “QFF/DGTC 23” it seems like that was all that was needed to stir up the interwebs and get the rumor mills churning with what that could mean.

Including fans, the post had his counterparts from the industry in just as much of a frenzy with the comments section being flooded by the likes of Hardwell, Steve Aoki, ILLENIUM, and REZZ to name just a few!

In an interview with Zane Lowe Skrillex had fans swooning at the prospects of multiple albums on the way. And while that was back in August 2021, this post is a sign of the multiple ‘bodies of work’ he referred to saying, “I don’t like to say too much, but I mean, I have some projects, I hate the word finishing, but I have all the songs and I’m just in there tweaking and releasing some singles before I decided to put out the bodies of work.” Listen to the interview once again here.

Soon after the post, Reddit was on fire and especially so the R/Skrillex subreddit where users began to release the supposed tracklist for the teaser video. Posted by user skrillex_jahn, the 20 tracks most of which he has identified include features by Missy Elliot, PinkPanthress, Starrah and more.

Right after getting the engines revved up, today Skrillex announced that in a matter of just two days from now, January 4,2023 will see the first release with the highly anticipated collaboration with Fred Again… and Flowdan titled “Rumble.” The ID went viral real fast after Fred Again… dropped it during his Boiler Room debut in London earlier this summer.
