In classic Swedish House Mafia fashion, once again rumor mills are a spark after a post surfaced on the trio’s Reddit page yesterday showing a poster in Melbourne, Australia, with the signature three dots and date, July 16, 2021.

While there is absolutely no official communication, we could presume this is a teaser for an announcement or some kind of much-anticipated news coming from the trio. Earlier in the week, Alexander Wessely, the art director for the Swedish House Mafia reunion tour, shared a post on his Instagram page with a caption saying “PUSH IT”.

The visuals are accompanied by a minute-long portion of a song which has left fans wondering if this is has anything to do with new music on the way from the Swedish trio.

After the trio’s comeback at Ultra Music Festival in 2018, fans have been waiting with bated breath for new music, tour announcements, or pretty much any news from the trio. Such posters cropped up around Stockholm in late 2018 and sure enough lead to shows being announced at the Tele2 Arena in Sweden, followed by shows in Mexico and at Creamfields in 2019.

The trio’s last official release dates back to 212 with the much-celebrated “Don’t You Worry Child” and it is safe to stay fans are more than ready for new music from them since their reunion in 2018!

Earlier this year reports surfaced of the group parting ways with Columbia Records and also signing on a new Manager Wassim ‘Sal’ Slaiby who also manages The Weeknd.

While there is still no confirmation of any sort, posts like the one below are definitely adding steam to the possibility of new music coming next week. While we can’t say for sure, we can all raise a prayer to hope these rumors are true and we finally get some new music which we’ve all been waiting for with bated breath.
