What’s worse than having your heart broken once? Having it broken multiple times? Yes, it happens again and this time we’ve lost track of the count. The hope of a Swedish House Mafia reunion got all SHM fans excited for a couple of hours when Swedish DJ Axwell hinted the return of SHM on Twitter.
The tweet by Axwell raised hopes for reunion of Axwell Ingrosso with Steve Angello and the iconic return of Swedish House Mafia, who split after a memorable last performance at Ultra Miami 2013.
The countdown to new era” maybe implies the beginning of a new journey with a new person. On a contrasting side, “Never late to get back on track” could refer to getting reunited as the original SHM.
Apart from the text, Axwell’s above tweet has 2 interesting parts, the logo & the date. The tweet above is accompanied by Axwell Ingrosso logo, which has an extra ‘A’. Axwell’s tweet also mentions the date March 26, 2017 which is the Sunday of Ultra Miami 2017. (Picking up where they last left 4 years back?)
However, some suggested that it could even be a union with Alesso, who has maintained a close relationship with the duo for quite sometime. Alesso comes into the picture following Axwell Ingrosso’s show at ADE on October 22, during which Alesso joined them on stage to perform the classical track “Calling (Lose my mind)”. Alesso seemed to be in contention following this post on Instagram.
Before fans could contemplate whether the A represented Angello or Alesso, Axwell put all rumors to bed with the following tweet. He also deleted the tweet thereafter.
