Asia’s ‘best nightclub’, Zouk Singapore apparently got an imposter posing as Marshmello to perform for them post Ultra Singapore. So Zouk’s in the news once more, and yet again its for the wrong reason. Zouk Singapore apparently got an imposter posing as DJ Marshmello to perform for them at their Ultra Singapore after-party. Not only did they allow the imposter to hit the decks, but several fans were misled to believe their pictures were with the actual DJ. Marshmello himself seemed pretty pissed about the fact and hit back at the club.
According to Zouk’s resident DJ Jade Rasif, the club either did not do due diligence to make sure the booking was legit, or they knew and just didn’t care, showing their lack of integrity.
Super wack that you guys hired an imposter to perform as marshmello @zouksingapore respect @djjaderasif pic.twitter.com/gXPa0Bx6AL

Now okay, Zouk did release an ‘official statement’ regarding the incident which you can read below. But let’s be honest, Zouk hasn’t really lived up to its legendary status since its management switched hands earlier this year. Just look back to their incident with Aly & Fila earlier in March. Make what you want of the incident or the statement below, but I’m not believing any of it.
