Berlin based DJ and producer Jacob Dilssner aka Wankelmut ranks among the most popular and renowned representatives of electronic music “made in Germany”.

Born and raised in East Germany, the 32-year-old made his break in 2012, when his remix for Asaf Avidan’s “One Day / Reckoning Song” soared to #1 in eight European countries, resulting in over three million records sold to date as well as a multitude of Gold and Platinum Awards.

During the last two years Wankelmut has collaborated with various vocalists like Björn Dixgard (singer of Mando Diao) or Charlotte OC and subsequently scored 2 Mio monthly listeners on Spotify to date. His monthly radio show can be heard on Germany’s biggest radio station WDR 1Live for almost four years now and of course he never forgets his club music roots with releases on Defected or Mother / Superfett.

2021 was opened by a collaboration between Lucas Estrada and nobody cares. „Oh Love“ (Spinnin Records) is only a taste of what Wankelmut will deliver in 2021.

To give us a glimpse of his favourite future and deep house sounds, Wankelmut takes over this week’s “Mix Of The Week”. Tune in!
