Alesso first teased “Midnight” on March 26th across his social media as he sent out a call for help from vocalists on the track.
He shared a small snippet of the track and played the guitar and keys as well as the sample vocal he needed assistance on.
He shared the song saying this is what he was working on during his quarantine right now and his call to action was for vocalists to cut it and send it to him through DMs or tag him and they can take it forward.
After their first collaboration together in 2016, One Direction’s Liam Payne is now going to be the voice on the track. With an official release on April 8, the two artists are inviting fans to get involved in the official remix. Once the track is released, aspiring producers have been called on to make their own remixes and edits of “Midnight” and submit them using the hashtag “#AlessoMidnight.”
