Complex DJ Twista

Following the release of ‘Ten Years of Good 4 Nothing’ on the imprint which was built by drum & bass producers Complex and DJ Twista, the pair have come together to give us a rundown of what the LP had in store for its listeners.

By no means a comprehensive breakdown of each part of its colossal tracklisting, we’re offered highlights from an album which is a journey across ten years of Good 4 Nothing, as well as the achievements the imprint has built. It’s become one of the defining platforms within the Jump Up scene and when looking at the below playlist, it’s easy to see why.

Complex – What Makes Us Strong

A track that really surprised me with the feedback we got before and after the album was released. I went for a darker more rolling vibe than my usual.

Complex – Sneak Attack (Dutta Remix)

Always a difficult thing having someone put their own spin on someone else’s track but when it works it bloody works! Dutta smashed this one out the park and moonwalked the home run!

Metalwork – Hallucinations

Metalwork is a guy that’s consistently filthy and this is no exception! We love the dirty bass on this!

2N – suicidal

In my opinion, 2N is one of these guys who’s massively slept on, with unique production skills and ideas making for a great combo and this is no different!

Complex – Ask Frank (Slipz Remix)

We got all of the track parts over to Slipz and was instantly excited to hear what he was going to do. He didn’t disappoint and brought a wicked vibe to Ask Frank that would probably keep anyone off the wagon.

DJ Twista – Magnetic Field

(DJ Twista) It feels good to be back in the studio after a short hiatus, this bouncy little number has been getting a lot of love.

Filthy Habits & Jeopardize – Crossfire

These three guys are on fiyah at the minute, their output rate is crazy… Crossfire has been doing damage in clubs all year.

Ironlung – Creation

Ironlung has been releasing with us since the start on our other imprint Nothing Long. Creation is a perfect example of jump up DnB.

Ovadose feat Spooka – Ill

Another artist that’s been with us since our Nothing Long days, we see the return of Ovadose coming with some serious energetic vibes. Watch out for him in the future!

Nick the Lot – Mushrooms

Nick the Lot is hot property at the minute, bringing his own unique style to the album – Nick the Lot gets deep and twisted on this one.
