Shedding light on the creative process behind the single, Max Styler shares: “I’ve been inspired lately by the sounds and melodies in trance and more progressive-leaning music. When I first heard Shayee’s voice, I knew instantly that it was special and that we had to work together. She actually sent me the acapella for ‘Amazing,’ when I was on a flight home and I went straight to the studio when I landed. The song came together really quickly and was actually finished on version 1, which is rare for me. Trance is back, and summer is here. Let’s have an amazing one!”
San Luis Obispo native Max Styler first broke on the scene nearly a decade ago at the ripe age of 18. The ever-evolving artist has been refining his sound to the max, demonstrating a penchant for sultry vocals and party-starting vibes. Within this year alone, he clenched the #1 spot on Beatport’s Top 100 overall chart with his ‘Wanna Dance’ EP on John Summit’s label. Then, he managed to claim the same spot once again with his subsequent ‘Destination’ release on Lee Foss’ imprint a few months later. The tastemaker support has been star-studded to say the least, with his music being championed by artists from the likes of Gorgon City, Tiësto, Calvin Harris, Vintage Culture, Nora En Pure, MEDUZA, Wade, and more. His recent single “Lose Your Mind” alongside songstress Jem Cooke drew massive support across the board, and was selected by KISS FM UK as their coveted “Breaker” track. Max has a massive year ahead with performances at Escape Halloween, Countdown NYE, and dates in dozens of key markets.
UK-based Shayee’s career first began as a backup singer in the ’90s. After taking a lengthy hiatus, the talented singer returned to the limelight with her commanding vocals on Redondo’s “Feeling Good,” a standout track that has amassed more than 701K streams. Her timeless voice offers a sense of stirring nostalgia with an irresistible allure.
