Having just announced a brand new stage concept named ‘The Valley’ earlier this week, Manchester’s Parklife festival has now revealed the line-ups for its renowned after-party series, Afterlife.

Taking place across the city at seminal clubs and venues on 9th and 10th June, Afterlife will join forces with a range of the local independent promoters to host four parties per evening, with a selection of names from the festival’s program – which is headlined by the likes of The XX, Liam Gallagher, Skepta, N.E.R.D., Lorde and Bonobo – set to appear, such as Jamie Jones, Camelphat, Shanti Celeste and Jackmaster.

The heart of the city’s nightlife for almost 100 years, The Ritz will round off Parklife’s day 1 with a party hosted in partnership with The Warehouse Project and Manchester’s favourite underground event organisers, Kaluki. The takeover will feature Paradise head honcho Jamie Jones and the Derrick Carter mentored, Honey Dijon recently commissioned to soundtrack Louis Vuitton menswear shows. The same venue will welcome fans for Sunday’s celebrations with a staple WHP Presents secret bill to be announced on the night.

Manchester’s self professed number 1 underground dive club, South, will bring the noise with a Saturday event enlisting the powerhouse behind Circus’ parties and label, Yousef and the producer behind Hot Creations’ best selling track of 2017, Bontan across the weekend. Club Bad hosts the Brazillian beat loving, Melé at the same venue the next day. Zutekh are another key fixture in the local electronic scene and will be returning to Afterlife’s roster after a raucous late night double edition in 2017. This year, they have enlisted Glaswegian party starter, Jackmaster, plus Chilean born house DJ shaking up the Bristol scene and beyond, Shanti Celeste, and rising producer Or:la.

Long time member of the festival’s family, Manchester promoters, Now Wave will take over the Northern Quarter’s multi award winning Soup Kitchen on Saturday with London DJ Ross From Friends making waves for his key contribution to the progressive genre of lo-fi house. Revelers also have the chance to see UK bass hero Skepsis for a second time at Factory thanks to Metropolis.

With under 6 weeks left until the festival, Saturday general admission tickets are now sold out and a very limited amount of Sunday (£65) and weekend tickets (£119.50) are still available – all of which are expected to sell-out very soon. This year’s new exclusive backstage garden, VIP Colonnade will feature 3 arenas including a rebuild of UK clubbing institution, Sankey’s Soap as The Beehive Club, with VIP tickets starting from £85.
