UK scene shapers Punctual joined the Monstercat roster today, with their alluring new single, “Do It All Again (feat. Jordan Shaw)”.
The London-based duo have cemented themselves as dancefloor authorities, with multiple charting hits and infectious club cuts. Arriving as the first record off their forthcoming EP, “Do It All Again” is brimming with pop-inspired production, ‘80s synthwork influences, and evocative vocals from Jordan Shaw.
Punctual share, “‘Do It All Again’ came about after we had the idea to sample Bronski Beat’s “Small Town Boy.” We both grew up loving this song and had wanted to put our own spin on it for a while. We wrote the track whilst looking forward to post-pandemic life and being able to party freely again! This has been a crazy couple of years and we really wanted to write a song that encapsulated the feeling. We also really love Jordan’s voice and have wanted to do a tune with him for a while, so we are super excited to have this one out.”
Since their breakout hit “Eva” in 2016, Punctual have found fans in everyone from Zane Lowe to Elton John.
