Multi-faceted producer Slippy returned to Monstercat today with his riddim-fused single, “2Nite.”
Ignited by haunting peaks and wonky drops, the new record sees Slippy break from the predictable and lean into a dance-forward sound, while also staying true to his unearthly stylings with booming bass.
The riddim chops and ominous wobbles make for an addictive favourite with bass enthusiasts, who can look forward to more heavy-hitting tracks from Slippy on the label to come.
Slippy shares, “‘2Nite’ is definitely up there with some of the most fun tunes I’ve ever made! I went into this one allowing myself to buck any perceived expectations of my art in order to experiment with sound design and simply make a song that was as dancey as possible. Think of this like that song that rolls during the dance scene right before the end credits of the movie.”
