As Festivals are making a full-time return after 2 years of absence due to the pandemic, Tinder announced they will be bringing back their “Festival Mode” with the Tinder Tour.

On Tinder, users can look out for the Festival Mode card where users can match with it, add the festival badge to their profile and see who’s going where, and from where users can check out everyone else going to the festival, so they can match and chat before heading there.

Kyle Miller, The VP of Tinder shared, “Music is a universal language and the number-one interest among Tinder members worldwide… We wanted to build on that excitement and offer them a head start at meeting someone new ahead of one of the biggest festival seasons in years. Festival Mode gives you a chance to get yourself back out there, meet new people, and make friends before you hit the festival grounds. It’s a great, low-pressure way to make real-world connections again.”

In a recent partnership announced by Tinder and Live Nation, they announced a promotion called “Epic First Date” which allowed Tinder users to buy concert tickets right through the app. They also have teamed up with live event producers AEG Presents and Superstruct Entertainment to introduce Festival Mode™ again.

First introduced in 2019, using the “Explore” page, users are able to match based on their interests, along with the festivals they are attending, or interested in attending, Currently Tinder has partnered with EDC in Las Vegas and Orlando, Stagecoach, Lollapalooza Paris, Sónar Festival in Spain, etc. among others as the summer festival season starts.
