Adding a new part of the world onto its list, Ultra Music Festival is set to make its debut in the Middle East with Ultra Abu Dhabi on March 4-5, 2023.
While this debut was originally set to happen in 2020, the pandemic had other plans.
Taking place in the Etihad Park on Abu Dhabi’s Yas Island, which is a leisure and tourist destination which also annually hosts the Formula One Abu Dhabi Grand Prix, the event will have two stages, with a main stage focussed on big-room and a Resistance stage focussed around house music. The lineup is yet to be announced.
This move makes Ultra the first US based dance music festival to host an event in the Middle Eastern scene. Spreading its reach, this adds to Ultra’s list of worldwide events which include, South Africa, America, Australia, Taiwan, Brazil, Peru, Spain, Croatia, all of which follow through till July 2023.
