Caster Unveils Sophomore Ophelia EP “The Witching Hour”

Caster returns to Ophelia with a new two-track EP “The Witching Hour”.

Featuring a spellbinding blend of psytrance, dubstep and midtempo, “Sacrificial” kicks off the release with six minutes of non-stop energy throughout six distinct drops. The B-side is his collab “Syzygy” with producer Moon Rush that weaves through sections of melodic bass, hard dance and D&B. “The Witching Hour” marks Caster’s sophomore EP on Ophelia and releases this Friday, April 22.

Ophelia Records 2022 Multi-genre DJ and producer Caster has continued to capture fans through his unique productions alongside a distinct visual identity. His horror-themed soundscapes and enticing artistry have landed him support from Excision, Seven Lions, Liquid Stranger and NGHTMRE with official releases on Monstercat, Subsida and New Dawn Collective. “The Witching Hour” follows his debut Ophelia EP “Black Sands”, which was released on the one-year anniversary Caster’s launch.

When asked what influenced the direction of the “Black Sands” EP, Caster stated that it was inspired by Seven Lions’ more experimental tracks “Summer Of The Occult” and “Isis”. His mysterious identity and haunting productions have also garnered him support on radio shows from Annie Nightingale, SLANDER and NGHTMRE.

As the official record label of melodic dubstep leader Seven Lions, Ophelia is a label that promotes independent dance music and has been the official home for his music since 2018.
