Our Artist Of The Month for March is one if the most consistent artists in the scene right now, effortlessly delivering one hit after another for over a decade now, he’s now preparing to takeover 2016 with the release of his 4th studio album. ‘Put your hands up’ for our AOTM – Fedde Le Grand.
Born in 1977 in Utrecht in the Netherlands, Fedde Le Grand started out with producing a bunch of tracks such as The Vibe, Las Vegas and Get This Feeling in the early 2000s, while also remixing artists like Funkerman and Erick E.
He achieved global fame overnight with his greatest hit ‘Put Your Hands Up 4 Detroit’, which broke into the Top 10 in a number of countries and reached the top spot in England and Finland.
Fedde Le Grand and his wife Tana along with Funkerman and Raf Jansen are co-founders of Flamingo Recordings and Fedde mixes a weekly radio show called Dark Light Sessions that airs every Friday on satellite radio and features many of the Flamingo releases.
Fedde’s discography includes remixes of Coldplay, Madonna, will.i.am, Robbie Williams, Everything But The Girl, Fatboy Slim,Mariah Carey, Shakira and Rihanna as well.
Fedde has also produced some sensational tracks like ‘RAW’, ‘You Got This’,’Sparks’, ‘Wheels in Motion’, ‘Let Me Think About It’ and more, reaching his peak ranking of #14 on the DJ Mag Top 100 in the year 2011.
He has also provided tremendous support to artists like Nicky Romero, Danny Avila, Merk and Kremont and many more.
