The Made With Love label hits release number three with a new EP from Alex Bizzaro.
It comes with four great cuts and is another fine statement from the young imprint. Italian Bizzaro is a young DJ from Italy. His DJ sets are groovy and full of energy, reflecting his production style here, whilst his philosophy about dance music is that it has to be danceable, funny and able to create atmospheres. He sure does that here.
Opener Changes is a tough tech tune with one finger bass stabs, rattling tambourines and sad, melancholic chords. It really does get you where it hurts as well as making you want to dance at the same time. Next up, Four Tulips then plays with a sample Moomin made famous and is a deep, emotive track with paddy drums and well poised synths. The sampling continues on Ciao, which features a sexual refrain from one of Motown’s best. When paired with a monstrous baseline and some slick house kicks, it really takes off. Finally, If You Don’t Come Back again is a jazzy, jittery hobs number with sensual chords and inviting grooves. If you don’t know Bizzaro by now, you surely should!
