Comedy Central have announced that their roast victim for next year will be the troll king of EDM himself, Deadmau5!
The network announced today that Joel Zimmerman would be next year’s roast victim. The Canadian producer will headline the 15th annual Comedy Central Roast with a stacked lineup of roasters who are ready to turn up the heat. The cast will include Madonna, EDM duo Krewella and Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of The Walt Disney Company Robert A. Iger.
We assume every die-hard EDM fan will be drooling to watch the roast of their favourite ‘troll master’.
“Joel has been asking for it for years. We didn’t even have to ask him to go create more source material first, like we had to with Beiber. We’re thrilled!” said Kent Alterman, President of Content Development & Original Programming at Comedy Central.
The “Comedy Central Roast of deadmau5” (#Mau5Roast) will tape in Los Angeles. Tape and airdate to be announced shortly.
