DJ Sneak’s IAHG imprint has gone from strength to strength over the past year with a host of iconic releases from the likes of Jesse Perez and Ramon Tapia as well as a number of landmark events. Now, with the summer fast approaching, Sneak and his I’m A House Gangster label have set the buzz alight for the forthcoming Ibiza season with a brand new video (the first in their mini documentary series), that documents the past year’s highlights on the White Isle and showcases the REAL house gangster life.
Shot over one week in Ibiza the mini-doc captures Sneak performing at the INSANE pre-party at Café Mambo and the INSANE night at Pacha Ibiza as well as alongside Pete Tong @ Ushuaia as part of the new ‘This is Hard Rock Hotel’ gig series, which had DJ Sneak accompanying Snoop Dogg at his memorable performance.
It also showcases the ‘I’M A HOUSE GANGSTER UNANNOUNCED’ nights at The Underground Ibiza, which included a back to back set with Johnny White from Art Department and opening sets from Amine Edge and Dance, as well as the infamous Ibiza BBQs with Sneak manning the ‘Gangster Grill’.
The soundtrack comes courtesy of Jesse Perez and Harry Romero with some of the most definitive releases on I’m A House Gangster to date providing the perfect accompaniment.
The documentary also coincides with news of Sneak’s summer plans. After legendary sets at Music On, Carl Cox, Cocoon, Circo Loco and many others, this summer will see DJ Sneak as a monthly resident at the much loved Ants party as well as playing some special guest slots for the usual suspects. Alongside his Ibiza residency Sneak will also perform at Ceremony (Found) in London as part of the very first IAHG festival stage.
For all the definitive house gangsters out there, the video’s release comes with an added bonus as Sneak himself will be giving some lucky fans the chance to take a ride in his legendary low rider while in Ibiza this summer via his social channels, undoubtedly something to keep an eye open for.
