NOPASSPORT Records welcomes Moscow based duo Doyeq to their impressive roster for the next release.
The Russian pair continues on its 2015 odyssey with their Whales EP, and the release includes two hypnotic, crispy tracks that perfectly define the unique Doyeq sound. Doyeq have been active since 2009 and have great credits on labels like Studio R and Passage, amongst others. Original track Whales is a deep and hymnal house affair with sombre synth chords, warm rubber bass and spiritual melodies. It really conjures up a magical late night and romantic vibe and is another winning cut from this pair. Then comes Playing Your Game, which is a more driven tech house affair with crisp hits and yet more moody chords. This pair really knows how to imbue their music with true feelings, and it is that which stands this EP apart.
