EDM Stereotypes!

0

Stereotypes are everywhere. You can try but you usually can’t help but notice them wherever you go. Raves are no different. There are always these certain stereotypes at a rave, ALWAYS. Still doesn’t ring a bell? Read on, we’ve listed them down for you!

1. Bored guy who doesn’t listen to EDM at all but is only there because all his friends are or because his girlfriend forced him to (Sometimes his girlfriend or friends aren’t into edm either)!

2. One track kid. That guy who only knows one song by the artist and actually buys his ticket to go listen to that one song.

3. The know it all guy. He knows every track, every drop and is having the time of his life. He could have made a killing by betting on what song the artists opened/closed their sets with.

4. The camera guy. He’s more concerned about getting those instagram pictures than the gig itself. Yes these guys exist.

5. The drunk guy. He probably (definitely) drank too much and has passed out next to a tree.

6. The old guy. 50 year-olds at a Borgore show? Yes that can happen too, and it’s usually a huge culture shock for him. HUGE!

7. Critics. Yes they’re everywhere, even at raves! Trance fan at a DVBBS gig? He’ll probably (definitely) claim a refund from Chris and Andre right after the show.

8. Miss Social – I don’t really care about the music or the artists but can’t afford to miss a gig that’ll be talked about in the social circuit….till the next gig. I just picked up a new neon top and am all set to rave. But first……let me take a #Selfie (500 of them)!
