The images conjured up by the words “Gold, Diamonds & Money” are in stark contrast to the dirty, gritty and unpolished sound that prevails on the track. There is no glamour here whatsoever, as thunderous synth lines crack over the top of pummeling beats and uncompromising bass. The tongue in cheek vocals are catchy and also help to build momentum following the melodic breakdown.
